Mechanical grinding
The slab is ground to fully open the pores. This is the step most companies skip, and it is the one that decides whether a coating lasts.
Crack and pit repair
Cracks, joints and damaged areas are repaired before anything is coated, so they do not telegraph back through the finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to replace my concrete first?+
Almost never. Most slabs that look past it — cracked, stained, pitted — are structurally fine and can be ground, repaired and coated. That is the whole point: you avoid spending thousands tearing out perfectly good concrete.
Why does prep matter so much?+
Because it is what the coating grips. A coating rolled onto a sealed or dirty slab has nothing to bond into, which is why you see floors peeling and bubbling inside a year. We grind every floor to open the pores before anything else happens.
Will it handle Colorado weather?+
The outdoor systems are UV-stable polyaspartic, specified for freeze-thaw, snowmelt and road salt. Indoors, the flake and polyaspartic systems handle hot tyres, which is what takes out a lot of cheaper garage coatings.
Is the floor slippery?+
No. Flake and broadcast systems build texture into the surface, so they grip underfoot rather than going slick when wet. That matters most on patios and pool decks.
