Not every floor needs a full system. If the slab is in decent shape and you want it sealed against dust, moisture and stains without a decorative finish, a single coat does the job.
Best for: Clean slabs that need protection rather than a decorative finish
Sealing stops concrete dusting, keeps spills from soaking into the slab, and makes the floor far easier to sweep and wash down.
The prep is not skipped here either — the surface still gets ground and repaired first, because a sealer over a dirty slab fails just as readily as a coating does.

Mechanical grinding
The slab is ground to fully open the pores. This is the step most companies skip, and it is the one that decides whether a coating lasts.
Crack and pit repair
Cracks, joints and damaged areas are repaired before anything is coated, so they do not telegraph back through the finish.
Base coat
The base coat goes down onto clean, bare, open concrete — so it bonds into the slab instead of sitting on it.
Flake or decorative broadcast
Vinyl flake, quartz or metallic pigment is worked in, depending on the system and the look you are after.
Scrape, clean and seal
The floor is scraped back smooth, cleaned, and sealed under a polyaspartic topcoat built to take daily use.
