Outdoor concrete takes a beating in Colorado — intense UV at altitude, snow and ice melt, road salt, and a freeze-thaw cycle that can run several times in a single week. This system is specified for exactly that.
Best for: Patios, walkways, porches, pool decks and driveways
We use a UV-stable polyaspartic so the finish does not yellow or chalk the way an epoxy left in direct sun will. The texture is built up for grip, which matters on a patio or pool deck that gets wet.
As with every floor we do, it starts with grinding and repair. Outdoor slabs usually need more crack and joint work than a garage does, and that work is what determines whether the coating is still bonded in five years.

Mechanical grinding
The slab is ground to fully open the pores. This is the step most companies skip, and it is the one that decides whether a coating lasts.
Crack and pit repair
Cracks, joints and damaged areas are repaired before anything is coated, so they do not telegraph back through the finish.
Base coat
The base coat goes down onto clean, bare, open concrete — so it bonds into the slab instead of sitting on it.
Flake or decorative broadcast
Vinyl flake, quartz or metallic pigment is worked in, depending on the system and the look you are after.
Scrape, clean and seal
The floor is scraped back smooth, cleaned, and sealed under a polyaspartic topcoat built to take daily use.
